Dr. Bayard Holmes was elected Commodore of the Lake Michigan Yachting Association for the third time, and the Club was further honored by Commodore Holmes election as President of the Yacht Racing Union of the Great Lakes. The Jackson Park Yacht Club Foundation (JPYC Foundation) sees maritime activities as one way to address Chicago boating, and especially the sport of sailings racial and economic disparities.
